The Colour of the river is magical turquoise because of the white limestones under the water. The canyon is around 1.6 km long. One point across at 33 meters high above the gorge you’ll find an old stone railway bridge built in 1905. which is still in use.
If you are lucky enough you can see a train passing by over the bridge. Under the bridge, there is a small hydropower plant and a damn for it. Gorge finishes with a waterfall which name is „šum“, if you translate, it would be noise. This day trip is really different even for nature lovers, especially when are high and strong waters during Spring. The most impressive thing about this day trip is that actually you are walking on boardwalks most of the gorge a few meters above the water. Definitely, a trip that you will not forget.
