Itinerary

Day 1Zagreb

Pick up at the airport and transfer to your Hotel. Meeting at the airport with your voyage guide and driver. 30-minute drive to your hotel or apartment which is situated in the center of the town. Dinner at the restaurant in the center of Zagreb s old town. After dinner optional, you can go for an evening walk through town.

Day 2Zagreb

Drive to Zagreb. In Zagreb, we settle at the hotel and go meet our guide. On a walking tour of Zagreb, you ‘ll find out all Zagreb secrets and amazing culture. You will visit the most popular museums like the broken relationships museums and museums of illusions. Lunch in the most authentic Zagreb restaurant and a viewpoint with a canon at the tower of Lotršćak. Free evening.

Day 3Discover Zagorje

A whole day trip to Croatian Zagorje. Will visit a Trakošćan castle, the most impressive castle in Croatia. It is a medieval castle owned by a Drašković family from the 16th century. After Trakošćan castle we are off for a lunch at Vuglec breg, a traditional family-owned farm and winery for a lunch followed by wine tasting. After lunch, we have left with one more castle to see. Veliki tabor, a big difference from Trakošćan a but also a very impressive medieval castle.

Day 4Karlovac

Drive the old road from Zagreb to Split with multiple stops and overnight at Plitvice national park. The first stop is Karlovac, a city on four rivers. There you will see an Old Dubovac castle which is now a restaurant and a viewpoint, a homeland war museum which is open ground, and a small tour with an old wheat vessel along the river Kupa.

After Karlovac, we will stop at the family farm Novković for a cheese tasting and Štrukli. Next thing along the way is Rastoke, people call them small Plitvice, beautiful nature with two rivers passing by, old mills and sleeves of waterfalls. After Rastoke we go for a Plitvice in your hotel which can be a tree house or a lake house.

Day 5Plitvice Lakes

Early morning we set off for a Plitvice walking tour you are free for 4 hours to explore 16 lakes and hundreds of small and big waterfalls of the national park. When you are done with Plitvice we are ready to drive towards Knin fortress, which had its big purpose in homeland war. Throughout history, the fortress was demolished and again built by Hungarians, Venetians, Austrians, French, and Ottomans. After Knin fortress, we leave for Split but one more thing is left, a Sinjska Alka museum. Sinjska Alka is an event that is played on horses. There is a lot of history connected to that game, so it is worthwhile seeing it. The final destination is Split. Dinner at Perivoj restaurant.

Day 6Split

Sightseeing of Split, Klis, and Solin. We meet our guide at the entrance of Diocletian’s palace and had an hour tour through the palace and city center. With a guide, you will find out all of city history, from how it become a city and who established it to all its today’s cultural and modern characteristics. After Split, we are off to see a fortress called Klis which was built on a stone mountain and is very impressive with its history and cinematography.
After Klis, we set a little bit lower to the small town of Solin used to be called Salona. Salona was the biggest town in the region during the past and most important because of the army and trading economy. Lunch after sightseeing in Perivoj restaurant.

Day 7Krka River National Park

Krka national park for a whole day. The start is with a boat ride through the canyon of river Krka to Skradinski Buk – waterfalls, where you have a nice 45-minute walk, and you can go swimming in the
lakes by the waterfalls. When you come back we’ll go to a museum and monastery on Visovac island. As soon as you finish seeing the Visovac island we start for the next location which is the Roski slap, there you can see one more waterfall, a cave on the cliff, and a beautiful viewpoint on the river and lakes. Lunch is next on the schedule, at the hotel on the big terrace near the small waterfalls.

With that, we have finished the tour with a national park and we are off for a wine tasting at Bibich vinery, The course of three vines will make you decide which one to buy. With that, we close the chapter of national park Krka and we are off to see The city of Šibenik with its beautiful cathedral and old city walls. On the way home, we will go on the old coastal road, passing Primošten, Rogoznica, and Trogir all amazing small Croatian history towns.

Day 8Mostar & Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik with stops in Mostar Blagaj and Pocitelj. Off to Dubrovnik at 8 am. On the way to Dubrovnik, our first stop will be Mostar with its old bridge which is around 430 years old.

Do not forget to drink Turkish coffee and visit Koski Mehmeds pashas mosque. We will have an early lunch at Sadrvan, an authentic Mostar restaurant. After Mostar will set for Blagaj Tekke which is considered to be one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most holy and ancient sites. The stunning Tekija was built beside the fast-flowing blue and green River Buna, which spills out of a darkened cliff cave. As for the Pocitelj the last location before Dubrovnik it is a fortified small town with walls all around it. It rests on the left of the bank Neretva River. Finally, we set to Dubrovnik for a nice dinner.

Day 9Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik walking tour we will start with cable car drive to srđ mountain for a stunning viewpoint on the islands and Dubrovnik city. After a stunning view, we meet our guide and had on a walking tour of the city center and city walls. In the evening hours you can go kayaking around Dubrovnik to see the city walls from the sea.

Day 10Airport transfer

Time to say goodbye, transfer to the airport from your hotel.
